We provide Gateway review services that help Victorian Government agencies test the robustness, readiness and deliverability of major investments and digital initiatives. Our work supports departments, agencies and statutory authorities to meet Investment Lifecycle and HVHR expectations, strengthen delivery confidence, and reduce the likelihood of cost, schedule or benefits slippage.
Our accredited reviewers bring experience in complex ICT projects, business change programs, infrastructure planning, procurement, commercial delivery, financial analysis and executive governance. We focus on practical advice, early risk identification and clear recommendations that help project sponsors take informed, timely action.
Our services include:
Gateway Review Preparation: We help project teams prepare for Gateway reviews by clarifying scope, ensuring documentation is complete and coherent, and identifying issues likely to attract reviewer attention. This includes readiness assessments, evidence checks, and structured rehearsal sessions with sponsors and project leads.
Gateway Review Delivery (Gates 0–6): We provide accredited reviewers who deliver Gateway reviews across all Investment Lifecycle stages, namely: strategic assessment, preliminary business case, full business case, procurement, implementation and benefits realisation. Review findings and recommendations are designed to be practical, evidence‑based and immediately actionable.
Assurance Strategy and Planning: We develop project‑specific assurance plans that integrate Gateway reviews with internal oversight, technical assurance, commercial review points, risk reporting and benefits tracking. This ensures assurance activity is scaled appropriately and aligned with program risk.
Follow‑up and Implementation Support: We assist agencies to interpret Gateway recommendations, translate them into clear actions, and embed changes into governance, delivery planning, procurement, risk management and vendor arrangements.
